Au fil des années de mon apprentissage des langues, l’on m’a toujours dit que l’une des meilleures façons de faire était par l’intermédiaire de la musique.
En tant qu’enseignante dans une classe d’immersion française, une tradition s’est installée dans mes salles de classe… La période musicale.
La période musicale, c’est quoi? C’est trente minutes de travail collaboratif pendant laquelle les enfants peuvent travailler en équipe tout en chantant leurs chansons francophones préférées. Certainement, une certaine sélection se répète de jour en jour, mais entendre les enfants chanter leur bonheur en vaut la peine. Voici donc trois chansons incontournables dans ma salle de classe.
Papaoutai de Stromae
D’abord, en tête de liste, nous avons inévitablement Stromae et son incommensurable succès Papaoutai. Avec ses paroles simples, mais poignantes, ne vous surprenez pas si vous entendez vos élèves chanter cette chanson dans l’école!
Mama Africa de Kids United
Ensuite, un autre grand classique dans ma classe d’immersion française est toute la trame sonore de Kids United, mais plus spécialement Mama Africa. Mes élèves aiment tellement cette chanson qu’ils ont même appris les mouvements qui y sont associés! Ceci est donc une merveilleuse occasion pour vos élèves d’apprendre le français et de danser!
Deux langues de Radio Radio
Finalement, que serait une classe d’immersion sans la chanson Deux langues du duo Radio Radio imaginée dans le cadre du concours Paroles d’immersion de la campagne #Teacher5Étoiles? Avec son rythme enflammé et ses paroles envoûtantes, vos élèves adoreront partager avec leurs proches l’importance de parler deux langues!
Et toi? Quelle chanson incontournable fais-tu jouer sans cesse dans ta salle de classe afin d’allumer tes élèves? Pourquoi ne pas créer votre propre chanson pour montrer votre amour de l’immersion française dans ta salle de classe? Un beau projet de fin d’année!
