Aboard a vintage caravan in the Teacher 5 étoiles campaign colors, ACPI will travel across Canada from Victoria, British Columbia to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador to meet with French immersion high school students and education students to promote careers in French immersion teaching.

Youth Activity
High School
The Caravan Margo will go directly to the high schools offering French immersion programs. Students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 will be invited to participate in an original scavenger hunt on French immersion careers as several clues are hidden around their school. Smiles guaranteed! All participating students will receive a gift and access to the Great Tour contest by completing the Am I a Future 5-Star Teacher? test. There are Great prizes to be won!
TFIC Activity – Trivia on French Immersion Careers
University Campus
We will be reaching out to students in the Education Faculties to conduct an exciting 20-minute quiz on French Immersion careers and distribute refreshments. This fun and informative activity is designed for students who have not yet considered French immersion careers. There will be a contest to win a $1,000 scholarship to a qualifying French immersion teaching program.
Job Dating Activity
Graduates of qualifying programs
An interview lounge will be set up in our campaign caravan as part of our popular Career Job Dating event. Students and graduates of university programs leading to a career in French Immersion Education are warmly invited to conduct virtual mini-interviews with participating jobimmersion.ca member school boards. Don’t miss out on this rich and unique interview experience!
